“ GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. Family owned and operated. They have an awesome lunch special with beef, chicken and shrimp options. AWESOME service from WangLee ”
“ When we walked in everyone, including other customers were extremely welcoming. My son was asleep in his chest harness attached to my husband and everyone thought it was absolutely adorable. We ordered food, and when it came out son Matthew woke up and decided he wanted to eat too! And I have to say the food was absolutely amazing! It reminded my husband of his lolla (grandma) and was the best Chinese he's has had since he left Alaska 8 years ago. We decided on the spot that we will most definitely be going back for future meals! Definitely sharing this with anyone who likes Chinese!! ”
“ I drove from Granby to meet my son in Frisco, who was in town skiing. He suggested a little Chinese place, which sounded great to me. Having just moved to Colorado, I had been craving it with nowhere to scratch the itch. It was a cold and slushy evening, some of the day's snow having melted. When we entered the restaurant, it was warm and bustling. We were seated very quickly, even though the restaurant was packed. There was lively conversation everywhere and they were very busy. Someone came to greet us and take our drink order almost immediately. We ordered hot tea, with spring rolls, dumplings, and crab rangoon for appetizers. For our entrees, I had Szechuan beef extra extra spicy, and he had General Tso's chicken. Both came with lightly fried rice. The appetizers came out very quickly and were hot and fresh. The spring roll was delicious and just what I needed! I did not try his chicken, but my Szechuan beef was really delicious. The meat was tender, the sauce was sticky and spicy just as you want it to be, the level of heat was spot on, and the vegetables were still fresh and crunchy. But I think the thing I love most about the place is that it's run by a family. They were everywhere all at once. And I loved seeing that. They were very friendly and very attentive. Everyone was smiling. And like I said, the restaurant was buzzing with that energy. Lots of smiles and laughter as I looked around. Such a great dining experience tucked away in this little gem of a restaurant! I saw a comment that said the place was dirty. That was not my experience at all. There were a lot of dishes, because there were a lot of guests. But they were quick to get them up and out of the way, never missing a beat. It's a shame that I don't live in Frisco, because I would visit this place often. But I imagine I'll be back. Thanks for a great meal and providing a great visit with my son! ”
“ Great lunch special for 10. Flavors are right on target and food is cooked well. I had general Tao chicken and it was crispy like it should be (in my opinion). Worth a stop along your drive thru town or a break from skiing. ”
“ Very solid Chinese restaurant. This definitely scratched my itch for Chinese food. The Szechuan Beef, Szechuan Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Broccoli in Garlic Sauce was good. The hot tea was Jasmine and also good. Family owned & operated restaurant which remains of some of my favorite places in NYC Chinatown. The second I walked in and soaked in the surroundings I knew it would be good. Looking to make this a staple dinner option every time I come skiing out here. ”
“ 5/5 This is everything you want in a casual, no frills Chinese-American restaurant! It’s a perfect place to refuel after skiing. The service is outstanding. The owner is a woman who calls everyone “dear” and immediately makes you feel welcome. Their lunch specials are unbeatable. For 11.35 you get soup, app, and a main with rice. What we got: - Pan fried dumplings - Wonton soup - Hot and sour soup - Tangerine chicken - Mongolian beef - Chicken kung pao I would recommend all of these! This place is so good we have been twice in the past 3 days. ”
“ We were near the area doing snow activities and we choose this place to have lunch, and was a 10/10. The food was good and quick, the waitress was very nice and gave us suggestions of things to visit. Thanks, it was a really nice experience. ”
“ China Szechuan is truly a hidden gem among the Chinese restaurants near the ski slopes. My wife and I happened upon it one afternoon and were immediately struck by the lively sound of the staff chatting loudly in Cantonese. We exchanged a glance and knew right away the food would be excellent – and we weren’t wrong. Our waitress made us feel like old friends by the time our drinks were served. She even joked around with my wife and spoke some Korean, which we found especially sweet. She always remembers us when we come back and even sets us up at our favorite table, #12 in the cozy corner. One time, after a long road trip, I came in exhausted, just waiting to pick up a to-go order. The owner, noticing how tired I looked, kindly gave me a Red Bull on the house. I’ve only visited a handful of times, but the food has always been fantastic, and the staff are so warm and caring. Even if you’re far from home, China Szechuan makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend it. ”
